i heard it can be done. will this be the same as a factory manual?
also v6 to v8. can anyone give me some info on where and price?

If you do an advanced seach and select "titles only" instead of all posts you will find HEAPS on info on this.

In the end it boils down to being MUCH cheaper to simply buy a manual v8 commodore.

$3000++++ to convert to manual and that again + more for the V8 conversion

Yes it can be done, I've done it on a VT (same driveline).

About half way down I describe my conversion.

I'm still not finished as it turns out the auto & manual engines are balanced differently and my flywheel seems pretty shagged anyway.

Budget atleast $2k for a conversion like this!

Second Edit: Apparently it's only that other red one that isn't liked! Understandable..

nah i wanna get a manual v6 and cant seem to find any. plus im attached to my car now. then when i get off my Ps change it to v8... then again i wanna get a sedan.

you seriously couldnt find a thread on converting a auto to manual..... ?

i totally forgot. not thinking properly today =[
