Hi,
some may be interested in this device I have recently fitted to get the speedo working after a manual transmission conversion from an auto.
I used a product called speedohealerV4 on a VR commodore. I had to get the manufacturer to customise the unit to have a hall effect 3 wire input and a 2 wire magnetic output. This unit allows you to retain your auto PCM and still have the speedo working. Ie: set the unit for approx 950% and use the output of the device to feed the PCM as normal and in turn the PCM drives the speedo.
The unit is the size of a match box and has an adjustment range from -99.9% to 9999.9%.
The unit cost me 96.00 Euro delivered from Hungary but they do have Australian sales agents, although the custom units would not be stocked.
