i ended up paying $800 for a complete car with exstractors just be careful try not to get a series 1 VN cause they use a 6 Bolt flywheel and an 8 bolt is hard as ####
to find under $200..I know around newcastle area it costs about $750-$800 to get it changed over..

so all the guys that have done such a swap.. what was your experience like??
is it just as good as factory manual? i dont like to drive old vn/vs/vr/vp etc the least id go down to is a vt simply because gear shifting becomes too hard for old cars that ive tried.. like when you clutch and try to put her into a higher/lower gear it doesnt click in nice and easy.. you have to shove it.. and i dont like that..

the vy/vu's are awesome to shift in.. very nice and smooth to shift..
any ideas?

thanks
