hey,
does anyone know how much roughly it would cost to get the auto tranny and diff serviced?

at work we charge about 130 for auto.
we dont do diff srvices as the oil is suposed to last the life of the car

it wouldnt hurt changing the oil in the diff would it?

and how much roughly to get my brakes checked?

it shouldent cost more than $40 to get the diff oil
check the brakes your self its not that hard and also you will know if your getting riped off

the brakes look fine there just really spongey. id rather get a pro to check them

take it to a brake place and get them to take it for a drive and they will tell you if theres some thing wrong
also get them to change the brake fluid that will cost about $30-$40

I paid $110 for a service on my transmission fairly recently. I would agree with xcop5l and say get the fluid changed first if your brakes are spongy. As he said, it shouldn't cost the earth.
