Auto trans rough downshift

Hi all , this morning i had to take off from the lights pretty hard to get into the right hand turn lane . I backed off before i hit second gear which seemed to confuse the transmission. When i pulled up the car was running rough as if it was missing then the engine light and traction control light started flashing .After a couple of seconds the lights went out and the motor ran smooth again. The only problem is now that when the transmission down shifts when slowing down it is very harsh but changing up is normal . Anyone have any suggestions please . Thanks Dayvo

Consult a reputable Auto Transmission Specialist. It probably needs a service/oil change/top-up etc etc.,

Quick update , just took it for a drive and all seems to be ok
