hmm very interesting question...
when you activate the auto down, do you hear a click in the switch when it reaches the bottom, the window regulator or the BCM?
2010 camaro window schematics show they are not linked to the BCM, so i doubt the ol' commo would be, since GM generally dont have much imagination. the device ID is stored on a circuit board inside the regulator, which you can easy mess with, but im thinking the switch assembly is the part that drives the auto function.
ebay results just show a spate of the same window switches for calais and omega, no mention of auto control or not.
id be keen to see an answer to this question too.
