Fortunately all bar 1 of the Gibson GTR's survive to this day. Undisputed fastest GTR's in world racing back in the day and was banned from taking them to Japan as NISMO were worried their gravey train would be over when local customers found out how much they were getting fucked over. Very similar circumstances to how DJR blew the doors off the euro RS500's a year or so earlier.
The one that died was because the brakes didn't work so well when the roof was skidding along the road on the Adelaide street circuit. Back then, every time a driver pranged a car they had to shout the boys a slab to fix it. Jim Richards described the stack over the radio back to FG when asked how bad it was: "Well I think he owes you a small bottle shop". The car was fukded.
