AUX not working

I have had a problem for a while where mainly the left side speaker never works when using AUX. Usually a quick push on the middle of the console can put it back on but when hitting a speed bump it’s off again. Sometimes when you push it both sides go off. I have narrowed it down to being a wiring problem, assuming that when pushing the stereo is reconnecting the wires that are broken.
I have tried swapping devices connected and aux cable used and none of that worked so I’m almost certain it must be wires.
Does anyone have any suggestions to help or tips on how to fix before I take an expensive trip to the shop?
