Avalanch cd player

Hey guys i just Installed an avalanch head unit into my uncles car and it is coming up with error1 when ever he trys to play a cd. Does anyone know why this is, it says nothing in the instuctions and we have tried oriinal cds, copied cds and still same error1. The radio works fine and it is installed correctly as well as the head unit being brand new I dont no what the problem could be.

most manuals will have a troubleshooting section where it tells u wot the errors mean, there is a different number for the different errors, if thats not the problem then maybe wot he said ^^^ but i dont no anything about avalanch as a brand
