Name: Marc
Model: 1974 HQ ute
Colour: Black
Bodykit: GTS style Guards
Engine Type: Holden 308
Engine Mods: Suppose to have a small cam, holley carb, belt drive.
Exhaust: 4 into 1 Genie extractors, exhaust needs to be re done.
Gearbox: Auto not sure if th350 or th400, need to have a look.
Diff: Salisbury diff, unsure of gears.
Brakes: Standard
Suspension: Standard
Wheels/Tyres: Cheviot Armorlite
Interior: Pretty much standard
Other Mods: Premier front end with GTS grille.
Stereo: No stereo yet
Bought this unlicensed and needs a bit of work done like exhaust redone, needs seatbelts, tail lights are faded so will need new ones.
Body is in primer but i can see it needs a few rust repairs on the front cowl and a couple spots on the passenger side.
The plan is to get it registered then just enjoy driving it for a while, then will strip it all down to fix the rust areas, get the body all straight and basically just get it all looking and running nice.
I would like to keep it mostly original with nothing too over the top, i do like the wheels that are on it but the front passenger side tyre has rubbed on the guard so i might need to change them to a smaller rim or tyre as they are currently 235 wide.
Here are some pics.
