decided not to go turbo nor supercharged, im going to do up a very different CAI to see how it would work out, POD filter mounted somewhere close to the right hand wheel guard, 3" into a Front mount intercooler, 3" out then at the AFM make a bracket to fit a 3" stainless pipe, then more 3" to the intake manifold :)

another reason im not doing a turbo or supercharger is im not sure if ill get an exemption to drive it.

ohwell, not too worried about performance at the moment, its sort of just a play around at the moment, fiddling with things and seeing how it turns out. also were they supercharged or turbo? because ive yet to actually see an alloytec thats got turbo, reason being everyone keeps saying the engine cant handle it, which is basically why ive gone with a stock turbo running 5psi rather than a bigger one running say 10psi.

also a quick update, im thinkin a manual conversion might be a good idea, but thats just a thought at the moment, will see how things go :)

and a quick question, anyone thought of dropping a RB32 into a VZ? just a thought...

Youtube Proflow VZ Turbo, should show you what a turbo alloytec can do.

no need to delete your thread, its not that no one on here has no imagination, just you will achieve nothing using an intercooler on an NA car. having an intercooler on an NA will only make the flow restrictive. best bet would be to just make up a custom 3 inch piping to somewhere that has a good airflow with the shortest possible route. hence why OTR are prefect for the lsx motor, it is extreemly short passage and a direct cold air induction
