Back plate on VS DASH!! HELP

    hey guys just bought some white leds to put into my dash pulled it all apart put the leds in, but its still shining through greenish does anyon know how to make it just white, also havin a few problems to get all the dash to light up 3/4 lights workin...

    Iv heard of people using nail polish remover to take the green of the back of the dash card and just taking off the green and leaving the white layer of paint. You might have one LED in backwards, they only work one way.

    Same thing happened to my dash lights, remember LED lights behave more like a spot light or pencil beam behaviour rather than radiate like the old lights thus some areas will look brighter than others but the whole dash should have light. I like the green.

    As stated above its due to the green backfilm, a light abraisive should remove it and allow the light to flow better and yes the LEDs have a positive and negative so check installed correct.

    Youll find that this green film everyone says you can remove by light sanding or nail polish remover is under a few mm of clear plastic. To give you an idea:

    - Plastic
    -
    - Green film
    -
    - Black coating (the front of the dials)
