did you notice much difference when using the orbital polisher?

yes, it gives it a deeper shine and removes swirls easier

i used the pads it came with, one was a applicator (woven cotton) and buffing (wool) pads,

use a normal polish, i used turtle wax scratch and swirl remover,

and yes mine is random orbital

yes the final drive ratio is as what is says you can get many different ratios in LSD or Single spinner, so at the moment my car has an 3.08 single spinner, and im replacing it with a 3.46 LSD

hmm, what size wheels do you have atm? ive been looking at wagons with lows (or eqiv to fe2) with 18's and the tyres just sit at the guards - which im happy with

you loose top speed, but gain accelleration,

is your wagon an ex cop car just for curiosity, because of the wheels, lsd etc etc,

im only taking a guess that you car looks higher because the tyres are a slightly lower profile (but wider) than the standard, ie yours is 225, 60, r15 as opposed to my 205, 65 r15, and does your compliance plate say fe2?

no yes yes its the police pack but was owned by the fire brigade
do you reckon the ratio will be a good change or bad in terms of nice increase 0-100 or 1/4 time and slight rpm increase at 100 fuel economy? sorry for questions

nah its cool, yes it will make the 0-100 a little quicker,

and yes it will raise the revs at 100km/h about 200rpm i think, as for fuel economy, around town you wouldnt notice it and on the free-way i dont think it will change it much at all, because as soon as you hit a hill it changes down a gear and revs it tits off for a little while, where as the diff may put it in a sweet spot if you know what i mean and may not need to change back...
