Battery light and Alternator warning even after replacing both

hi.

I have a 2006 VE Commodore SV6. Last month while driving the Alternator warning light came on. After replacing the Alternator, Fan Belt and the battery this week the battery light is still on. Has anyone experienced this or have any solution for this.

Further @lout post....What is the output at the alternator and at the battery whilst it is running?

Output at alternator may not reach the battery if their is a wiring issue....It might be possible there is a wiring issue at the alternator which isn't turning off the light in the dash, yet the output of the alternator matches the input to the alternator...

The Recommended Average should be 14.4 Volts idling.
Best to test it with a Digital Mustimeter. [more accurate]

the voltage is round 14 while running. i purchased an alternator from Auto8.

both the output are around 13 to 14. checked the wiring and all seems ok.

Might be worth getting your car scanned to identify any error codes that have been set. You didn't install the battery the wrong way around initially did you?

i got it scanned today and the code was that F terminal circuit is not receiving current.
