mate I checked the power in the sensor wire and it was not working. Any idea which fuse or relay is related to this? We checked all the fuses that was visible and al seemed okay. not sure of the relays as there is no proper indication on which one is the correct fuse or relay.

thanks

the f terminal is an output from the ecu to drive the field current
wire runs from ecu terminal 30 or 32 depending on engine, to alternator f terminal, there are no fuses in this circuit

is there a chance that the ECU is corrupted now and needs to b changed?

measure the voltage on this wire with engine running and see what you have
ecu is pretty reliable
i still feel new alternator is the problem

Thank you so much for this. Yesterday I found 2 fuse near the passenger side bad and replaced them. After that I cleared the errors via a Diagnostic tool but the Battery light and the Alternator warning was still a problem. Took the car for a drive for nearly an hour and the lights were gone suddenly. Now all is normal and the currents are all in order. really appreciate everyone's assistance on this.

thanks
