there a heaps of ways of doing it. you can use an isolator switch, which are usually bigger and bulkier.... or a solinoid which is just a big relay and have a small switch mounted on the dash somewhere,
probably the easiest would be using a 'trickle' or 'float' charger which are small automatic chargers, wire up a small plug some where under the front bumper, that way you just plug the car in if you think it will be sitting around for a while

I would also suggest use anderson plug connectors. Heavy duty and they connect snug each time. Being solid plugs, they can be hidden easily.

your vehicles computers go into sleep/shutoff mode after aprox 20mins after shutdown and locking. i doubt you will have a drain issue unless you presently have issues with you charging/starting systems. In the end its up to you but in my opinion your car will be fine to sit in the shed with the battery still connected..

By the way to what was said earlier. these batteries (if gone flat) will not perform as well as they should with only jump start/ alternator charging and would be greatly benifited to put it on a charger.
