Hey peeps, I have a few questions

Is the VY battery tray easily removable ?
Would a VT tray fit in my VY ??

I have issues with mynbattery not holding down with the plastic wedge, doesnt seem long enough, or maybe my battery is smaller than original. Was thinking if I could put a VT tray into it so I could have the over the top bracket and long bolt.
Does this seem like it would work ?

Didnt really want to go with the Super Cheap Auto bracket and drill holes into existing tray, would like to have it still look like a Holden part

Cheers

Battery sounds too small.
If the wedge is fitted the correct way round, fit a small piece of timber against the back of the battery as a packer before fitting the battery.
Paint the timber black to hide it if you so desire.

Most other trays will fit depending on physical size, but you may have to drill new holes to suit.

Sorry about the delay, but for those of you playing along at home, the VT battery tray botls right in using same holes, fits like a glove
Cheers
