    Hey guys,

Im totally confused so i could use a little help.

I currently have a VR V6 Manual. It has a BCM code of "788 Low".

Now im trying to install power windows, cruise control and speed alert and apparently i need a new BCM. Is this true, and what should i go for?

Im looking at putting a "High" level in, (from a calais etc) so i can add in a level 3 cluster down the track.

Any ideas what number i would need etc? Im really at a loss and any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers, Errol.

The high level BCM has an alarm built in I'm not sure how that would effect you, also I dont think many High BCMs were Manual as they came in the Berlina Stato and Caprice.
If Dr Bob dosn't answer in a couple of days try PMing him he is would be reliable with knowledge to help you out.

a mid BCM will get the windows sorted out, the cruise can be done without the BCM.
to use a High series BCM will need huge wiring changes.
The BCM has nothing to do with the transmission, speed alert or dash functions

    Thanks Guys,

Again Doctor bob you save me again. So if i was going a mid range BCM, what number should it be? Does it have to be a specific one, or will any mid range BCM work?

    Cheers
