Thx this is what i was looking for the fuse panel doesnt need to be removed as the bcm isnt bolted in.Thanks for the tip.As it started to look scary removing all in front of the bcm.also so in theorie i can change ecm and bcm and with a new ignition car should start.All keys are lost.also mines a mid bcm will any mid bcm do?Tia.An old post I know, but for future reference you push the bottom of the BCM forward (towards the front of the car) to disengage the clips, then pull the BCM down.
No need to remove the fuse panel, just reach up behind it. A bit awkward but doable.
