Beeping on idle after 30 odd seconds

Hi all, just bought a 2009 VE OMEGA, I start it and let it idle and at around 30 seconds there will be loud long beeps coming from the top passenger side of the dash, as soon as I drive off it stops. Am I missing something? Could someone please shed some light on this? Much appreciated.
