Mate the old L67 is a pretty hardy old donk. Just keep it serviced and keep an eye on the LIM gaskets as they tend to fail.

Will definitely be keeping it serviced and maintained! Usually really fussy with my cars so if they need anything I do it straight away before things get worse.

Nice.

It's a shame the L67's are so undercooked from the factory.

A few little mods makes em go good without going overboard like the VS.

Yeah I don't want to go as far as I did with the VS, especially being my daily, it needs to be very reliable. Done all that work to my VS and I wouldn't trust it using it as a daily driver. Not to mention the amount of fuel it goes through now!
May do a couple of things just to give it a bit more go, but don't want to get too carried away.

extremely nice daily mate. here you have moved up to qld, might get lucky and see your vs out cruising oneday.

Yep moved up here at the end of March this year! Loving it so far, and yeah look out for the VS and let me know if you spot it :) Have to use it now whenever I go anywhere as it is the only car I have until I pick up the Calais towards the end of the week.

UPDATE: Picked up my Calais today finally! And I love it, it's the best car I have ever owned in my opinion! Only problem I found on the way home after I filled it up with fuel was an error message come up in the display, but on and off a few times, saying fuel gauge error or something. But that is something that can be fixed once I recover funds again.

Other than that, I absolutely love it and so glad I decided to get it!

Will take more photos soon.

Ours did the fuel gauge error once or twice. Few full tanks and it was all good. Hasn't happened again.

Yeah I'm thinking of just leaving it and seeing if it comes good itself. I don't think the previous owner ever filled it up and only put like $20 of fuel in at a time. I'll be filling up and using BP Ultimate, that should clean it all out.

So it seems that after filling up with BP Ultimate and letting the car sit over night with a full tank, it has fixed the fuel gauge error problem. The fuel must have cleaned the sensor contacts I'm guessing. Went for a long drive today and it didn't come up with the error once.

Also bought some new floor mats for it, want to try find a genuine set still though. No longer available at Holden :(

That's good a full tank fixed the problem. Can't say it didn't cost you, being a full tank of fuel. Ahah.

Quick search on eBay and I found heaps of genuine Holden floor mats.
