Hi all,

This post may have been covered before but I was wondering what would be the best brake pads to use... ie: ones that perform well, dont produce much brake dust and are not tooooo expensive.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Bendix GeneralCT. IMO, the perfect balance between dust and performance.

The problem with the other performance pads is that you need to clean your rims every 3 days, for performance you probably won't even need.

Agreed, unless your raceing hard and can warrant performance pads, Bendix general are the go, got them in the VK and VT and they pull up bloody good, especially in the VT which has DBA slotted rotoros :)

You sure they aren't Bendix Ultimate? I've had almost 0 dust from CT's. I also vouch for the QFM's. We were literally blackening our rims on the XR8 every 3 days (it has upgraded brakes) and the QFM's made a crap load less dust.

Damn I was gonna say the same thing. Our old pads use to dirty the wheels so bad, not sure what brand they are. But when i replaced the pads i cleaned the wheels up, and their still shinny with a bit of road dirt on them thats all.
