So I am trying to take off the side skirt end caps on my VX Sedan. In the past I have removed them via the two screws with a small phillips head screwdriver. I have tried again and seem to be having trouble as there is very little room between the tyre and the end cap. Is there any good tricks to get them off?

Stubby screwdriver should get you enough clearance, if not wheel may need to come off if rear, turn the wheels if front

Thanks, I have tried with a small screwdriver but they are really done up tight. It is the rear wheels too.

Ratchet with 1/4 socket and the screwdriver bit attchement should get you the leverage.

Wheels on full lock and a stubby screw driver.

Just last week I put the mud flaps back on and it was easy enough with the wheels on lock.

Come to think of it. I’m pretty sure they only come off once the skirt is removed.

Flip up the seal along the bottom of the door and undo the screws hidden underneath.

Thanks, it is the end cap of the side skirt close to the rear of the car and the rear wheels.

They are only held on by 2 screws, I have taken them off in the past to flush the side skirts out. I just have little room to get a screwdriver in there.
