Just done this mod today, havnt driven at night yet to see how the light dimming is, but when I used to do the old Mode + Up trick my volts used to be bouncing up and down in the 13s, now its sitting steady on 14.1 :)

yeah it really does help :)

It's called a distribution block, one like the following would be perfect:
0/1 gauge input, two 4 gauge outputs

Another solution would be a "T" or "Y" connector with 0/1 gauge in and two 4 gauge out.

Just sayin' cause that's pretty dodgy.

Sorry for the thread dig, But does anyone know the measurements of the cables that need to be upgraded so i can cut them up and get them all crimped before i pull the old ones off the car.

I doubt anyone would off the top of their head. Just grab a roll of string, take it out to your car and cut up some pieces.

Too easy. Just bare in mind Nic is a strong believer in the old do it "quickly and dodgy" job. All exposed wires should be heat shrinked or electrical taped, try to use HEX crimped lugs for the best connection.

i brought bolt battery terminals so il post up pictures of how it was ment to look when i did the big three, i thought the audio ones would work out but i didnt realize how many wires there were so i had to improvise and it worked for a while then i had problems and changed it and did that ^ for temporary (the other pictures in attachments)

this is just for other people who are doing the big three upgrade and unsure on what to do.
