big cam and 1.8 ratio non ecotec will make more power?

hello,

i just start to build the Buick v6 engine... so i just wonder if big cam and high ratio rocker arm will give more improvement the performance?

i heard thats they wont make more kws on the wheels? is am i right? :(

cam is your best bet to making power but take note that "big cams" that have lots of duration need more compression to work properly(and revs). combining a cam and high ratio rockers works well, however with stock heads you limited to about .520" max valve lift before you have issues so you will need to make sure that any combination of cam/rockers doesn't exceed max lift, or rebuild the heads to suit more lift:D

cool, i am go to change the valve spring and valve to make more lift :D. thanks for the info... cheers i hope everything goin ok :D
