Just have a couple questions about upgrading to a bigger throttle body for more air intake.

1. Does it make a big difference in performance and is it worth it?
2. Is it fuel efficient or completely opposite?
3. Are there other parts that would also need to be changed?

thanks.

NO JUST A BIT MORE THROTTLE RESPONSE
2. Is it fuel efficient or completely opposite?
SHOULDNT CHANGE TO MUCH
3. Are there other parts that would also need to be changed?
IF YOUR CARS AUTO THEN THE TUNE NEEDS TO BE ADJUSTED AS THE TB STUFFS UP YOU SHIFT POINTS. HOPE THAT HELPS

This is what ive heard from others, not personal experience

1. It makes a slight differnce with trottle response is more effective if u have done some other good mods also works much better with a tune

2. I wud think yes and no if u plant it alot more air = more fuel but if ur driving normally maybe better or the same fuel economy

3. No its just a simple take other TB off and install new one

PS the other lad beat me to it

yeh, when i put one on my VS it stuffed up the shift points pretty bad. It shifted really early and made it pretty average to drive.

yeah i've got one in my VT and the shift points are now stuffed, however the throttle response is noticeably better with the modifications i have.
