    Hey guys,
My car has been running rough for yonks now. (As far as i know it has been doing it for years)
It has a rough idle, when you try just coast it pulls forward .. kinda like it has a cam :p

Anyway i found a piece of paper in my car from the mechanic last year (Before i owned it)
And it shows the compression test results on there

    1-175
    2-165
    3-150
    4-175
    5-140
    6-160
And the mechanic wrote "Needs Reco heads to get running O/K"

Does this mean if i did the heads it should run good again?
Worried that the mechanic could of just been "Hitting them up" for some more money.

i really want to get my car running good again, but this is going to be expensive.

So i should do the heads or not D:

The idle is pretty bad and i imagine its running worse then it did last year (Compression wise)

You've got to determine of the lower compression in cylinder 5 is due to the rings or valves. To do this you need to repeat the compression test and put some oil into the cylinder first. If the compression goes up a lot it's usually the rings that are leaking so reconditioned heads will not fix it.
