Hey guys,
New here, just wanting some info on how everyone blacks out there badges… is there a product I can buy to coat them? And is it any good ? or do I need to source them?
Thanks in-advance for any and all information.

I've tried the coating method, you need to get special black out coating.

Try Plastidip, if you don't like the look, you can peel it off.

VZ Crewman, VZ Cross 8, & ya mum.
Yeah Plasti dip. I’ll be doing the Cross8 badges in either Plasti dip or shadow chrome.

Had a play with shadow chrome last week. Made it almost as dark as the gloss black badge that I had on the front of my Crewman. I’m going to see how that goes. If it doesn’t work out, I’ve got gloss black badges for most of them.

Anyway, when I bought the shadow chrome old mate there told me he was stoked with the plastidip he used a couple of years ago. He did careful prep and it’s still as good as the day he did it.
