My VE is black and I'm deciding whether or not to paint my wheels black on stock height, worried if it might look to high afterward. whats everyones opinion & has anyone done this?

    also,
been looking everywhere for a black ve with black stock wheels but only seen silver or red ones done.
    cheers.
    :)

That's because black on black looks ordinary... don't do it.

(IMO black wheels look ordinary fullstop, but that's just my 2c)

Not sure what it has to do with the height of the car?

I always reckon the darker the car the lighter the wheels. So for a black car you have either silver, chrome or white.

Stick with silver or chrome unless you will be painting some (tastefull) accent colours on the rims to break up the black..Yes, there is such a thing as too much black sometimes...Just my opinion.

Black on black needs some sort of seperation like a polished dish or red pinstrip around the outer edge of the rim.

I prefer silver rims on black personally.

I have been a big fan of black on black for some time. And black wheels just look the biz.

That said, I actually really like dark grey now. Like graphite. My wheels come in graphite and I almost question if thats the way I should have gone.
