I'm looking for somewhere in SA to give my ute's paint a new lease of life for a low price.
Just want the same colour to get rid of scratches (no dents).
It's pretty straight just few dings around wheel arches and around the top of the bay.
Anyone got any suggestions and an idea of cost?

i started the quote at 900. if you think 900 is too expensive then youre in for a shock.

my impala was finished in putty ready for rub back. i thought it was ready for a smash of paint, panel shops said no. min quote was 6k, max quote was 15k. all depends on the car. aint no way in hell of quoting you online with no clues as to the condition of the outside of the car.

some dude will fill it with bog and hammertone paint it peely as hell for 900 bucks, or some guy will make love to the primer with 2000. take his sweet arse time, stroke it, love it, enjoy it and make it sheen for 15k.

your job is to find a guy somewhere inbetween those two.

good luck.

black is the worst color too. if its not right youll know straight away... ive seen some black jobs that would have looked better if they hadn't been repainted (because of bad body work).

yea most of the bad stuff is on the lip of the ute if i put a decent hard lid on you wouldn't see em
ill see how i go cleaning first?
also there was sign writing on the side and back at some point and there is like a shadow left where it was.
any idea the best way to get rid of that

the paint that wasnt covered is faded, repaint is the only way.
