All right guys have recently got a 04 vz with a Alloytec engine.

Has been running a treat up until a couple days ago. Had a fuel level sender warning come up on the dash. Since then I've got no fuel pump and car won't start. Also it has a problem with the ignition now won't turn over the car on first turn.

Hellllllppppp

How many K's ?
When you turn the key to start car, can you here the pump run ? [to pressurise the system]
if not,
Check the -
Wiring to the fuel to the sender/pump
Check the fuel pump fuse
Check the fuel pump relay
Check all the main fuses [since it wont crank over.

Other than that, if you get it scanned, it could indicate the location of the fault, which will be a starting point.

Can I just replace the ecu? It's an excutive. But was going to change a Sv6 cluster in it, now is throwing gauge fault. Replaced pump. Still won't run. Has power at relays ect. And still takes a few attempts to turn over

Just done over 250. Power everywhere it needs to be except pump. Changed relays checked fuses. I'm at a loss. May have to change ecu

If its the original Pump, I think its had a good life at 250,000 k's
Check for Power at the Tank end,
then it HAS to be the Pump.

Have you tried bridging power to the pump at the relay ?
This will show if the fault is relay or control side or the wiring to and fuel pump.
As you are also getting a gauge error, I would suspect wiring to the pump, bit do the above check first.
