Hey minux, that little ford joke has been around for years!

Yeah i gotta agree, with the whole BOV on a commodore is a wank!
Hell, it's a wank on any car in my opinion!

Was your aerial an old coat hanger?

Moulded into the shape of Australia?

I was so envious of people with that setup.

The BOV has a real engineering purpose...the only thing is, there are BOV's advertised in everything from "Stealth" (virtually silent) to "Supersonic" (or blast pedestrians ears out from 10 meters). The two ends of the range and everything in between do the exact same job.
If you were only doing it for real performance gains and purposes, you'd go ahead and choose the "Stealth" version, and not draw undue attention to yourself...especially from guys in white SS Commodores with pretty blue lights on the top...
You could almost lay money on the companies having vast unsold stocks on hand of the "Stealth" versions and the "Stupidly Loud" versions on permenant back order because of high demand...
But hey, if you wanna sound all Ricey (for whatever odd reason), go for it...
