Recently my v6 ve commodore stalled as I was pulling up to the lights and wouldn't start, after we got it home and figured out the F39-10a IGN engine fuse was blown we changed it and she started fine I shifted into reverse got out the driveway put her in drive and she goes again fuse blown. After a another test and some basic troubleshooting I've figured out I can start it absolutely everything works lights radio heating aircon locks windows all electrics and I can reverse but the second I shift to drive the fuse blows and she cuts out!
Thanks in advance for any advice ideas or suggestions!!

Most likely a fault in the transmission. Best option is either a Holden stealership of local transmission specialist. Have you tried selecting first instead of drive?

If you can find a wiring diagram you'll be able to see what runs of that fuse, maybe it's just a faulty solenoid in the trans so might be a cheap fix.

Did you get under the car and inspect the gear shift rod movement? May be cutting/rubbing/shorting some wires. At least you can be sure that nothing externally interfering..
