And the water pump is gone too.......holdens cooling systems are shite. Once one component goes it seems the others follow. Had the same problems with the wife's executive

 

thanx man. not in my eyes, not at the moment anyway. still waiting for parts, paint has defects. ahh the list goes on. im sure ill be happy with it oneday
on another note. cooling system has been fixed. next will be suspension to go in and HID kit :yahoo: then maybe i can finally get the tune done. thats if i dont have to keep replacing parts lol. will keep the updates coming as they happen. sorry about the slow progress guys

 

Parts are starting to pile up. Got to pick the springs up tomoro and still waiting for the evotrac2 kit to arrive then the bushes and suspension can be put on. Was away for work for one week and when I came home my battery was dead flat. Need to take it on a decent drive to charge. Just hope the electrics are fine

thats good man, cant wait for the pics. yea i dunno if i shud just get the sides and rear or do something else with the funds like a tune and new otr. hopefully ill be on a 2x1 roster in newman so the funds will be flowing nicely :yeah: then i can do all the mods on my list lol

 

The guys at nolathane failed to send me the strut mounts and bearings so I'm currently waiting for a reply from them.......hurry up already I'm sick of the as looking like a rav4

Ok so I'm still waiting for the strut mounts from nolathane. I was meant to get it mafless tuned this week. Car broke down over the weekend so back to my mechanic she went. So I got a call yesterday as I was getting off the plane. Turns out a couple of valve springs broke.......FML
The rate this bloody motor is going ill never get it tuned

 

Na just gonna leave these ones in it eh. Mechanic said they are still mint as. Ill just wait till I have to rebuild the motor or something. Maybe drop another motor not sure where stand ATM. Just want the damned thing fixed. It sucks not having a car

 

Not sure man. Depends on how much of a bitch the car is going to be lol. Also if ill be back in Perth or away at work

Valve springs are done. Got my mechanic to give it a mafless tune too. First dyno read 344hp. Not too bad I suppose
Will see if he can squeeze anymore out

 

Looks like 260kw or 350hp is all he could get. Not bad considering its a really small cam. Not sure if I wanna spend much more money on the engine. Still need to sort the body kit and suspension. Also been looking at the vf r8 sv clubby......very tempting. After about 9-12 months saving I could have the money for one if I sell the ss. See what happens
