Phil Emmanuel is good isn't he? His brother is good too. I remember years ago that kid with cancer had his wish of playing guitar with Phil Emmanuel, ummm, Nathan Cameliri was it? Ended up beating cancer and going on tour with Diesel.

Look up Clarence Gatemouth Brown. Absolute legend.

Went to the Blues in Bridgetown on Saturday, there was a Blues Shoot out type thing with up and comers duking it out for cash. 3 kids from a local Bunbury high school played, unfknbelielable talent. The lead guitarist was 16 or so, only been playing for three years, they sounded like they had all been playing for 20 years. So tight and this kid has some serious mumbo on a guitar. They will be famous.....Third Degree they're called. Two brothers and a mate.

Don't know if you can call them blues, but atm I'm listening to Heart and always listen to Gary Moore.

More pop rock than blues I think. I picked up some good records earlier in the week from a small S/H shop in the sticks. The pick of the bunch was an Animals album. The original Animals, not "The Animals". $5, bargain.

Never spotted this thread before. I've always loved blues music, mainly grimy older stuff like Howlin' Wolf, Muddy Waters, Elmore James and so on. I was really first introduced to the blues by my uncle who lent me his copy of the "Best of the Original Fleetwood Mac" LP and a few others.
