Bluetooth car kit in Caprice same as Commodore?

    Hi guys,

    Are the holden bluetooth car kits in the WL Caprice the same as the VY Commodore? The Caprice HU is slightly different to my VY Commodore HU, and want to make sure that it will be a direct change over and that all wiring looms are the same? Might rip the car kit out of my missus Caprice and put it into my SS.

    Hey Adam.

    As far as I know the bluetooth part is identical. The head units are slightly different yes (the Caprice would be a "Premium" system - slightly different button configuration, and a classier font in the LCD are the only external differences)

    As for the bluetooth function, that's exactly the same across the whole range - single player or six-stack, standard or premium system. I reckon it'll be fine.
