We have a Z series VE Commodore S. My wife's Nokia Lumia 920 connects to the car bluetooth system and you are able to make and receive calls via the car handsfree system. However the Nokia (Here) Drive app will not play turn by turn directions over the car stereo like it's supposed to. Our other car has a Parrot bluetooth handsfree kit wired in to the car stereo and her 920 plays the turn by turn directions on that just as expected.

Is this a fault with our VE or is it an issue with the VE stereo lacking the correct bluetooth profiles to work properly with the phone?

Are you able to hear it through Bluetooth streaming?

I haven't tried this but suspect it may work from other research I'v been doing. However it's not really a suitable solution for us.

It's not capable of it. Ve Bluetooth has been a problem for a long time. Worse than Toyota.

Have have been told there may be a firmware update which may improve things. Is anyone aware of this?

The firmware update that fixed a host of issues should have already been installed on a my13 car, maybe pop into the nearest dealership to see what they can do.

For some, the firmware update solves everything... for others, no change.
