    Just got back!

The bezel was ok, has one spot for the phone button and a blank!

I had a quick look at a spare nokia button and I take it that I just need to cut the cable near the button and solder it to the bottom of the GM switch! is this correct? If so I am not sure which wire goes where, they are tiny as well!

Thanks heaps for your halp sp far! :)

I just noticed that you are in Warrnambool, some of my relo's live there too

I have just worked out why you need the bezel with four slots, the button has to go in the rear as it will not lock in correctly!

Hi, I'm looking at doing the same thing in my VZ.
Would you have the part number still, for the bezels, button and loom. That's all the stuff I need to get from Holden?

Yeah got it thanks mate, I replied!

I had a bright idea and thought that I would relocate either the T/C or power button and put the phone button closer to the T bar, what a s**t fight to find out that I won't be doing that!

Should I have got a plug to go onto the phone switch itself or I think you may have said just get terminals? I think the loom I got goes into the plug that your pics show!

Re wired my Nokia CK-7W into the holden loom this morning after having to repair the work of the person that installed it originally! Now working via the stereo's speakers....

Just have to wire up the holden button! Too hot here atm so it can wait!

Hey does anyone know if the nokia kit will work okay with sony ericsson phones? Also how did the install go? Does the nokia kit work okay with phreddy's stereo mods?

    Thanks,
    Adam

It will work fine with phreddys mod.
Not sure about your phone but most seem to work well with the ck 7w kits.

Oh just came to mind, can i use any sort of kit and wire it up into the holden stereo, or is it just coincidence that the nokia kit works?

I can't see why you couldn't use any kit! Just make sure you get the phone loom from holden, it supplies you the wires for power, stereo phone mode and sound via the cars speakers etc.

I got one the other day from Preston Motors in Dandy for a few $. If you like I can post all of the part numbers of the items you will need!

For a VY you need the 4 option bezel as I originally got the one that has two, one fixed and the other for the phone button!

All parts are in dark tempist, yours being an SS may be black, but at least you can give a part number and get on the right track.

    Bezel & Blank Covers (req 3) 92111636 & 92111640 not sure on $ but the 2 vers was $7
    Phone Switch 92172331 - $22.50
    Wiring Harness 92175840 - $6.95

You can also buy the wiring loom/plug to go into the switch, however it is over $50

Alot of money when you can make something up yourself for a fraction of the cost.

The guy at Preston Motors told me that he thought they had trouble with the GM ones!

    Not sure though!

My friend has a WL caprice and had problems with her bluetooth not connecting properly with her phone, but it turns out the bluetooth version needed to be upgraded from version 1 to version 2. All works sweet now.

Ok, Since no one could help out with this, I'll post it so for anyone else who might need this. These part numbers are for a VZ with the grey console (there's a black as well so the parts guy told me).

    GM-92165670 Bezel
    GM-92172331 Phone Switch
    GM- 92175840 Mobile Harness

Edit: Sorry Sam, I hadn't noticed this thread had rolled over to a second page.

Finally got around to finishing the installation of the button! (wired to NK-7W box using an rj12 connector plus phone cable and lights on power from the cig lighter connector)

Works very well with both using the phone via the cradle and bluetooth.

thanks to juzo for all of his help
