Bluetooth problems

When use my Bluetooth I can make calls no probs but in coming will not connect, I have a IPhone is this the problem or is it the IQ Bluetooth system 2011ves2

Seems to be a common problem with iPhones, my partner has the same issue with her iPhone in a Mercedes, my Android has no issues in the same car.
