    Hi All,

Can someone tell me what the purpose of the plastic (?) seals is, that run from the windscreen along the roof and down to the boot. Do they serve any real purpose? The reason I ask is that mine have shrunk and become brittle from being in the hot sun. Should I get them replaced quickly or can it wait a bit? There is now a gap at the front between the end of the seal and the windscreen seals, but can't detect any leaks (all windscreen seals were replaced last year). Any idea of pricing for replacements? I'm assuming Holden is probably one of few places to stock them.

    Cheers.

if you're talking about what i think you are, they channel water along the car when it rains. i wouldn't think they're something that needs fixing asap, more of an aesthetic than anything. but i have been wrong once or twice
