Body Trim Removal

Hi

I have bought a VK Race Car and want to change some colours on the chrome trims that are around the doors, head lights and tail lights.

I tried to paint them in situ but that didn't work well ;-(

Can someone let me know the correct way to remove the trims so I can get them painted properly

The head lights need to be taken out and the chrome strips unscrewed form underneath. The taillight chrome is eased off with a small screwdriver. I haven't taken the ones off over the doors but I believe they are taken off the same as the taillight chrome. They are held on by clips.

have a VK race car but NO chrome trim anywhere
not on doors.. in fact I cannot recall a VK model that had
chrome around the tail lights or head lights
