hey guys ive put a bodykit on my vs ute, and theres small hairline fractures/cracks appearing around the front skirt. Im guessing there like stress cracks or something? The kit doesnt fit 'prefect' but pretty close to it.

Just wondering if theres anything i can do to stop the cracking?? Besides stop bottoming it out reversing out of drive ways lol, only once and the cracks were showing up before that :)

you can reinforce it with more fibreglass resin and matting on the back of the bumper.
no matter what you do it will keep cracking if you scrape it on driveways etc

dont think the scraping on driveways was causing all of it, maybe the dodgy, country town roads, so ill buy that fibreglass resin, and put it behind where all the 'weak' spots are...all the angles and curves around the lights ect b4 it gets noticable.. sweet man, cheers.

make sure you put plenty of matting on it aswell to make it nice and strong.
you can never have too much of it on there.
make sure you grind it with a flap disc etc and clean thoroughly before applying so it has something to adhere to.
cheers mate.

btw dont buy a fibreglass repair kit they are a waste of money for what they cost and you dont get much in them.
go to a farm supplies store/mitre10 etc it works out alot cheaper.
around $20-30 a litre of resin,$5-10 for hardener and around $15 for a bag of matting
