How much did it set you back? I'm presuming the dealer removed and you sourced your own painter?
About $450. No I used the dealer's painter. They are the ones who painted the front and rear bars for me pre-delivery. The car was already there getting some paint imperfections done as well. They do all HSV paint repairs for that dealer

A chop to see the clubby wing in black would be good!

How come the front black highlight On the front bar isn't matte?
I havent got a chop but I know what it looks like. Here is Walkinshaw 'built' car from a New Zealand dealer

As for the centre.... well i did one thing which I wanted but kind of should have done it a different way. The front of mine is painted exactly the same colour as the GTS. For what I am doing I should have painted it matte. That said, the gloss really sets off the front of the car IMO. But, then the downside is that really the spoiler should be gloss (IMO) and that doesnt match the bottom of the rear bar, the stripe, or the flutes. That means that the spoiler will need to be matte. It also means that if I do a vinyl roof, then it really needs to be matte.........

oh the complexity of it all...

That's the only problem with, you can't color code things like the brakes and interior.

Looking mint as always man!

What you mean?

My last car had brakes that colour. And when I do my seats I could simply ask for green stitching? Or am I missing your point?

Thanks BTW

Nah, your missing my point man. It's hard to explain though.

The only color that goes with white is black. The reason why it is hard to color code a white car is that brakes and stuff painted black aren't noticeable at all. You can't do the interior black either because it is already painted a plain black which hardly stands out. On a black car pretty much any coloyr looks good.

But back to the point, green brakes look good man!
