I have accidentally closed my bonnet to hard, half of the bonnet is opened the other half is stuck from the bonnet spring, we have tried undoing the spring underneath with a flat head and cannot get it undone, what are other suggestions we can do being 2 females? I can get my hand up under near the aircon but cannot get to the wire around the back.

Search “bonnet catch setting” there’s some information on a guy who had a similar problem.
It might take a bit of getting dirty, but hey.......:)

Sounds like you need to get the other side down before it will move.
The VR and VS bonnets need to be properly aligned or they jamb.

Sometimes if you apply a little ( or a lot of...) down pressure over the bonnet pin you can then pull on the release handle to open the bonnet latch and then let the pressure off the bonnet and it might just pop open.
