Bonnet won’t shut

    Hey guys I have just installed the l67 otr into my vs commodore and the bonnet won’t close, I have done everything that the post in this site says and yeah the bonnet just won’t latch it goes down as far as it needs but wont stay there.

    Have you seen the crossmember spacers? They basically shim the crossmember lower which brings engine down with it, and allows a little extra room between top of motor and bonnet framing

    Bin the OTR and buy a Mace kit, it will work better and economy gains will have it paid for in a couple of years.

    Oh, I thought he had done an entire L67 conversion.
    Turns out not after re-reading it

    Even with an SC the Mace kit performs better. There is a member running Mace and SC and he said decent gains over what he had.
