It's difficult to know how a fibreglass bonnet could be ADR compliant on a modern car, because of the many considerations that apply to car design these days. The bonnet not only has to be able to assist in absorbing impact from certain speeds to protect passengers, as Ari pointed out. It also has to reduce the likelihood of injury to pedestrians. Dunno how you can achieve all that in a rigid fibreglass moulding.

Older cars (pre '95) where the ADR didn't apply might be ok, but as Ari has pointed out, since then the safety of the bonnet design and strength comes into serious consideration

ok, so i did the research on savage fibreglass, and this makes me believe that they are not ADR approved:
    Trading terms

quote from the website "Savage fibreglass Products takes no responsibility in ensuring the products are legal. It is up to the purchaser to check with the relevant Authorities. Savage Fibreglass products takes no responsibility for any damage caused by our products."
