Boot close sensor

Ive just replaced my boot lock and actuator, but am now having issues with the door open sensor.

I open and close the boot, then the door open light is on the dash and the horn sounds when I lock it. I give it 5 minutes, then the car will lock and unlock fine and the door open light goes away. Issue returns each time I open and close the boot.

Im assuming it may be something to do with the sensors. Any ideas would be appreciated.

The sensor triggering the dash light is in the actuator, you didn't mention why you changed the old actuator and whether the replacement was new. Assuming that you've checked the wiring and connections it could be the replacement actuator. Good luck.
