I some 44 gallon drums but I don't have a ute. I don't want to go to pick them up with my VZ if I know one won't fit so I am asking here to see if anyone's managed to sqeeze one in.

Otherwise I need to get my mates ute to transport them.

Does the back end of your VZ look like the back end of a P76? If it doesn't, it wont fit.

Don't know about drums but I believe you can get 3 Merino Rams into one, or 2 Hereford Calves, 3 bales of straw or 5 working dogs. What a stupid question to ask. Surely it is in jest!!!!!! If not, haven't you got access to a tape measure ? Surely it's something that most people could work out for themselves. Think it might be best for you to just concentrate on your school work and perhaps pay a little more attention to Maths.

A few issues with this comment. First of all, I am engineer so I know a thing or two about maths. Secondly, I am sure you can fit these items you mention in a wagon, and if my VZ was a wagon I am sure I could too, however it is a sedan and therefore has a reduced amount of boot space.

I am sure the RSPCA wouldn't a appreciate it if I stuck 5 working dogs in the boot of my sedan. If I had a wagon I would have the space and it would be perfectly safe to do so.

If I had a 44 gallon drum at home I would measure it. However, the 44 gallon drum I am replacing is ridden with rust and is in about 5 hacked up pieces so measuring isn't really an option. So I thought I'd ask the Just Commdores members. I am sure stupid questions get asked here all the time.

Maybe I should have made it clear it is for a VZ Sedan.

Uh..cut it up into more pieces and then just lay them flat..you should be able to fit it easy.
