recently i purchased a bored throttle body and a bored MAF meter. i installed the throttle body and the car ran alright except when i pull up to the lights etc it revs to about 2000 then drops back down to idle. When i installed the MAF however, the car wont idle properly. is a simple tuning all that is needed? if so where is a good place to go in western sydney?
    thanks for your help

i think u may have to reset the idle air mixture to do it u take of the postive battery cable of for like 5 mins then recoonect start car hold the revs ova 2000rpm for about 25 sec see if that works

The problem may be in both items the idle holding sounds like there is a TPS problem, the maf thing is understandable, as its name suggestt it measures airflow into the engine, if you change the size of the hole the air is going through the calculations in the PCM are going to be incorrect. the standard unit will not limit performance in most situations so youre better off with the standard one.
Berlina, the procedure you describe resets the idle air control... wont affect the mixture as it is controlled by the PCM

    Cheers Rob
