Bottom ball Joint

    Hey guys wondering how too get the ball joint arm or wateva it's called off the brake hub off the front right hand side as i'm changing the whole thing due too the bearing on my my VX Commodore..

    The problem it, the thread is spinning with the nut so I can't undo the nut...

    you need to put some weight on mate put a jack under the arm

    yeah... thats a locating ball joint on a macpherson strut setup, so it will spin after 14-25nm of force is applied(by spec of manufacturer)....

    use a pry bar (lever bar) to force the control arm downwards at the front pivot (near k-frame) onto the arm half way along
    so that it takes more than 25nm of force to make it spin..... and wd40 or similar too left for an hour will help alot i have found....
